Campsite Guests staying at the campsite are not permitted to use any of the facilities belonging to The Lodge or The Shepherd’s Hut, regardless of whether they have friends or family staying in either property during the same period. Additionally, campsite guests are not allowed inside The Lodge or The Shepherd’s Hut at any time. This policy is strictly enforced to maintain the privacy, comfort, and safety of all guests, and to preserve the exclusive use of facilities for those staying in the main accommodations.

Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.

Quiet period from 10:30pm onwards (Guests are permitted to continue entertaining but without music etc.)

There is no reception on-site: on arrival please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.

No hen/stag parties permitted.

The site caters for families (immediate members) and couples only – bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

At least one of the party members must be aged 21 or over.

Vehicles must be parked up for the night from 10pm on.

Automatic entry barrier using camper registration (register up to two vehicles)

Twin axle vehicles are not permitted on site

Group bookings of 3 or more units (e.g. tent or accommodation hire) travelling together are not permitted.

Units heavier than 2800 kg are not allowed.

Units longer than 8 metres are not allowed.

Disposable barbecues are allowed with a fire pit provided on arrival.

If making a fire, the fuel, logs and coal have to be purchased on site.

As the Lodge and Campsite are working towards and maintaining accreditation for eco and environmental awards, we want our guests staying at the campsite to fully experience camping alongside nature.

We no longer provide waste bins on the campsite and want to encourage guests to bring home their rubbish to recycle.

We understand this might not suit those who are staying at the campsite for longer than two nights, in which case we will provide those with details on how to dispose of their rubbish.
